Your chat on the Mac
The same chats, models and projects as on the web, as a native app with its own windows, menus and keyboard shortcuts.
- Every model of your account
- Chats and projects as on the web
- Dictation in the chat
Every model of your 2342.ai account in a native Mac app: chats and projects as on the web, a quick window for in between and dictation. If you want, agents work with folders on this Mac, with changes only after your approval.

⌥ Space opens a prompt from anywhere; switch the shortcut on in the settings. Send selected text to 2342.ai from the Services menu.
The app includes 2342 Host. Switch it on and agents work in the folders you enable.
With the host switched on, you start sessions in an enabled folder and see every step in the chat. Reading runs without asking. Writing files, running commands and commits need an approval signed by one of your trusted devices. The Mac checks that signature itself; the 2342.ai server alone cannot change or run anything there.
Download the DMG, open it and drag 2342.ai to the Applications folder.
Sign in to the app with your 2342.ai account. Your chats and projects are there right away.
Switch the host on when agents should work on this Mac, and enable the folders they may use.
The app is free. Requests run through your 2342.ai account and are billed by usage, just like on the web.
No. Without the host the app is a chat workspace. You only need the host when agents should work with files on this Mac.

Revoke it in the hosts list. The connection ends immediately and the Mac's key stops working.
Download, sign in, get going. Agents only when you switch them on.
